Dear colleagues,

As the Chair of the Organizational Board of the International Symposium on Chironomidae 2024 (ISC22), I am writing to share an important update regarding the registration deadlines for the upcoming event.

Over the past few weeks, we have received many inquiries about ISC22 deadlines from young researchers, and we are thrilled to see such enthusiasm, especially from our student participants. In light of the current economic landscape marked by inflation and increased logistical demands, we have made the decision to extend the registration deadlines to accommodate the growing interest in our congress.

To ensure that everyone has the opportunity to take advantage of the early bird registration rates, we have extended the early bird registration deadline until February 29, 2024. This extension is aimed at providing more flexibility for potential attendees, including students.

Here are the revised registration deadlines:

Early Bird Registration Deadline: February 29, 2024
Early Bird Registration Abstract Deadline: February 29, 2024
Late Registration Period: March 1, 2024, to April 1, 2024
Late Registration Abstract Deadline: April 1, 2024

We understand that these changes may impact your planning, and we sincerely appreciate your understanding and flexibility in this matter.

For your convenience, the registration details can be found on our official  website.

Thank you for your continued support! We look forward to welcoming you to the beautiful city of Niš, Serbia.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to our Organizational Board at [isc22@pmf.ni.ac.rs].

Dear Dr. Milosevic,

I have been asked by Valeria Lencioni to inform the participants of the availability of my keys to chironomid pupal exuviae.  Any possibility of slipping into the program the following: 'Update on the availability of keys to chironomid pupal exuviae by Peter H. Langton' ?  Probably 5 minutes will suffice.

Best wishes,

Peter Langton
