Various topics / Request for Chironomus larvae
Last post by andrew.mehring - May 26, 2022, 01:44:01 PM
We are seeking cultures of Chironomus plumosus, or any true sediment-burrowing species of Chironomus, for a laboratory study on carbon and nitrogen cycling.
We can provide payment or co-authorship in exchange, depending on level of involvement in the research.

If you are able to help, please contact Andrew Mehring at andrew.mehring@louisville.edu

Thanks!
Andrew

Dear colleagues,

The 21st International Symposium no Chironomidae (ISC2022) will be held online next 4-7 July 2022.
The registration is now open to public at the link below:

https://kinki-convention.jp/isc2022sp/

Please note that this is the last week for abstract submission (Deadline May 27th). Due to the tight schedule for preparing the program of the symposium, we encourage participants to register and submit their abstracts as soon as possible (please note that the deadline will not be extended).
The core time of the sessions will be set at Japanese time for direct discussions, but oral presentations will be also uploaded as video files and available throughout the period of the symposium, as for poster presentations. We believe that this system will be more comfortable for participants all around the world and thus encourage them to register for presentations.

Looking forward to share recent advances in the field of Chironomidae research with you.

Best regards,

Richard Cornette,
on behalf of ISC2022 organizing committee
