Various topics / Re: INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM IN...
Last post by Martin Spies - July 31, 2024, 01:53:02 PM
Thanks to Richard Cornette I have recently received a copy of the program and abstracts volume of the 21st International Symposium on Chironomidae, which was organized out of Tsukuba, Japan, and  held online in 2022.

Please note that the abstracts volume is NOT a formal publication, e.g. in the sense of the nomenclature Code; thus, none of the taxon names, nomenclatural acts, etc., proposed in it are available or valid from the respective abstract.

However, the volume refers to MANY more chironomid studies than the mere handful of papers actually published in the proceedings from the same symposium (please see the CHIRONOMUS Journal of Chironomidae Research No. 37 - Special Issue, published in 2023).

Consequently, in order to disseminate the information, I have added the citations of all 47 abstracts to the Bibliography of the Chironomidae. One way to find those references is to use the following search string in the search screen's "Journal/Book/Publisher" field:  Cornette Shimura eds

Regards,
